Barry is an accomplished leader and strategic planner with more than 40 years of experience positively impacting law firm’s bottom lines. Barry served as the only Executive Director of Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC for its first 31 years of operation and oversaw the growth of the firm from 39 attorneys to 275+. Barry was the right hand person to the firm’s Chairman and was involved in every aspect of the management and growth of the firm. He oversaw a lean organizational structure that drove an industry leading percentage to the partners of the firm and grew revenue and profitability every year. Donna is an experienced law firm growth strategist with a record of solving complex business challenges using clearly defined strategies that increase revenues, profits, and market share. Her experience extends beyond traditional marketing and business development, to proven success in improving profitability, increasing revenue growth, and establishing organizational excellence. Donna was the Chief Marketing Officer for Wiley Rein, an Am Law 200 law firm, for almost 20 years and a former President of the Legal Marketing Association Mid-Atlantic Chapter. At Wiley Rein, she served as a strategic advisor to the firm’s leadership and was a member of the core senior management team responsible for growing revenue and improving profitability year-over-year. As the first marketing officer for the firm, Donna built a full-service, client-focused department and was responsible for overseeing all firm-wide marketing, communications, and business development initiatives. After leaving Wiley Rein, Donna co-founded the Legal Strategies Group (LSG), a management consultancy advising law firm leaders including Chairmen, Managing Partners, and Practice Group Leaders on areas such as growth, profitability, governance, partnership structure, and compensation. Greg is a small-firm and start-up law firm strategist, helping LSG clients conceptualize their firm, and (re)build it to suit their specific needs. Greg’s background is as a transactional and regulatory attorney representing prominent corporate and individual clients worldwide. Greg built and managed his practice as a partner at large law firms, and more recently with a boutique firm that he co-founded. While a partner at the DC firm Wiley Rein LLP, he chaired its Business Development Committee. In his thirty years of law practice, he has seen the private practice of law change radically, including the introduction of word processing, electronic communications, the PC, online publishing, and more recently, the transition of functionality to the cloud. Greg is a true believer in the use of available technology to positively change the way law is practiced, and to restore entrepreneurship and excitement to the private practice of law.
